While in the middle of a painting degree, I was hired as a part-time bench jeweller. I fell in love with metalwork. I moved across the country to finish my degree and graduate with a BFA in metalsmithing and jewellery design, and am now pursuing my own jewellery business.

How did you find your way to contemporary jewellery?

The majority of my work is made with the intention of being sensory-friendly. Even the nail necklaces don't scratch. It's connected so all nail ends are pointed away from the skin.

What role does the body play in your work?

What material are you currently obsessed with and why?

All gemstones! My current favourites are grey spinel, green tourmaline, and peridot

More like organized chaos with music or a podcast on in the background.

Your studio: total silence or inspired chaos?

Can you tell us about a technical challenge that you have overcome and how you were able to resolve it?

I'm currently working on my stone setting precision. Many settings later, skills have come a long way, and more practice will make them even better.

Next I will be focusing on growing my business.

What is coming up next for you?
