An exploration of the contrasts created between structured shapes and fragmented textures.

Describe your current work/practice in one sentence.

Architecture, abstract art, and the urban landscape.

What are three things/ideas that inspire you?

What other things do you do besides your jewellery practice?

I have recently started to explore print making, specifically collography and monoprint. And I enjoy motorcycle riding and travel.

A bangle made with heavy gauge square wire. It was a project from a book, and one of the first exercises in fabricating silver jewellery that I decided to attempt. It was a magical moment when I took it out of the tumbler and slipped it on my wrist.

What is a favourite piece that you’ve made and why?

What word pops into your mind when you think of Canadian art jewellery?

Expansive

My work will be part of the Vancouver Metal Arts Association exhibition "Evolving Spaces" which runs from January 25 to February 22, 2024. And I am working on submissions for the Craft Council of BC's annual fundraiser, "The Earring Show", which takes place May 9th, 2024

What is coming up next for you?
